Application Process

How the Application Process Works

01

Submit an application

You can submit and track the status of your application on our Student Portal or through one of our contracted educational representatives/ agents. It is important that you provide up to date contact information so you can receive updates and more information about your admission. When preparing your documents please make sure to provide copies of your Academic and English qualifications and a valid passport.

02

Wait to receive your offer

There are two types of offer letters:

  • Conditional If your offer is conditional, it means we need to receive further documentation or evidence of your qualifications before offering you a place. Please upload your documents on your Study Link portal or share them with your educational representative. Remember to include your Student ID as a reference.
  • Unconditional If you receive an unconditional offer, it means that you have met all the entry criteria for your course and that you have secured a place at ICP.

03

Accept Your Offer

Congratulations on your offer to study at ICP!

Once you have received an unconditional offer letter, you need to complete and return the Acceptance Forms attached to your offer.

Please note the NavInsure cover is optional. You can find more details about the insurance here.

04

Pay the tuition fee deposit

Now, all you need to do is pay the tuition fee deposit. Payments should be paid directly to the University of Portsmouth bank details. You can choose to pay online on our website or via Flywire. Please ensure you include your Student ID in the payment reference.

If you are a sponsored student, please provide us with a copy of your Financial Guarantee Letter (FGL).

05

Receive your CAS letter

If you require a Student Route visa to study in the UK, you need to obtain a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) from us before you can submit a visa application. Our Admissions Team will contact you or your educational representative to advise what documents you need to submit. We will issue your CAS once we ensure that your documents meet our criteria.

If you do not require a student route visa to study in the UK, you will receive your University ID number after you make your tuition deposit payment. You can then move to step 7 before you arrive at ICP.

06

Submit your student route visa application

Once you have received your CAS statement you can submit your visa application. Please keep us posted on the outcome of your application.

07

Book your accommodation

At ICP, we offer a large range of accommodation options to suit every student’s needs. Whether you prefer to live in halls of residence, a self-contained flat, or a shared house, you can check out our providers on our website icp.navitas.com/accommodation, and make your pick. Take time to thoroughly research available options and book in advance to avoid disappointments.

08

Registration and enrolment

Registration and enrolment takes place face-to-face. Once you have received your visa (where applicable) and booked your accommodation in Portsmouth, you would need to book your flights at least one week before your registration takes place. We will send you detailed registration information in due course so that you can plan ahead of time.

09

Bring your documents for registration

We need physical copies of your passport, entry clearance vignette, BRP letter and accommodation contract so make sure you have them all with you when you arrive. Registration takes place at ICP and our friendly College Services team will guide you through all steps you need to complete to officially become a student at ICP and University of Portsmouth. We can’t wait to welcome you!
